TALK TUESDAY #2

Hello beloveds,

It’s been a crazy, hectic day for me today but here’s the second Talk Tuesday featuring the lovely Lacky & Limi. I follow them both on my instagram and find them very inspiring. Lacky is a beautyblogger and as someone who doesn’t know a lot about make up I love reading her blog for looks and beauty tips. Miss Limi is another fav of mine, she has a fashion/lifestyle blog with just the right amount of entertainment (fashion looks, trends etc) and personal posts.

I hope you guys enjoy reading their Talk Tuesday answers as much I did! x

”My biggest mistake was that I was doubting myself. It was so bad that I just left my passion for blogging aside. The fear of what others would think was too much. So, definitely my biggest mistake was not believing in me. And how I overcome it? I realized that enough is enough and that every dream is worth of trying.”

1. Who are you?

I always find it hard to answer this haha. I know who I am but what do I want to write down? Well… I am a believer, a believer when it comes to love, dreams, and others. I am a person who believes that kindness is something we have to carry with us every day. I am a person who always looks so serious, but in reality I am joker. Life is too short to be uptight and all that haha.

2. What is your deepest intention?

To learn and to help out others. At the moment I have a beauty blog but I am planning to extend this. There is so much more we can talk about other than beauty.

3. What is your deepest fear?

I have plenty fears, I believe fear is always a thing that keeps me going. I think the biggest one is the fear of is Allah pleased with me? This fear really does keeps me humble and working to be the best I can be.

4. What does love mean to you?

Love is everything and I believe without love I wouldn’t be the woman that I am today. The world at the moment is a bit cray cray and I believe this is a result of not having enough love.

5. What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made in your life and how have you overcome it?

My biggest mistake was that I was doubting myself. It was so bad that I just left my passion for blogging aside. The fear of what others would think was too much. So definitely my biggest mistake was not believing in me. And how I overcome it? I realized that enough is enough and that every dream is worth of trying.

6. What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?

That I started blogging. For taking that one big step. And the launch of my first iPhone app.

7. How would your best friend describe you?

Haha, I think as that girl who is always late! But also as a honest, funny, loving person. A friend who is always there no matter what. Oh and as a very sensitive person, I always cry when others cry or when I am watching a movie etc. But I would never cry infront of others about my problems etc. Even infront my best friends…weird huh.

8. What’s the best advice you ever received?

Best advice was definitely from both my parents. My mom told me to always believe in myself. And my dad always says: I have a dream lol. My dad really had a dream back then and he succeeded. That’s why he is reminding us that it all started with a dream.

9. How would you like to be remembered?

As a woman who loved to help others and as a kind & loving person.

””Stay true to yourself.” I used to want to ‘be normal’ but now I just want to be me, and so far that’s working out pretty well.”

1. Who are you?

Haha this is a hard one, I guess I will never really know who I am exactly since I am ever evolving, but what I do know is that my name is Limi, I’m twenty three and I’m half Dutch / half Tanzanian living The Netherlands, I’m a full time event organiser while I would love to travel the world instead.

2. What is your deepest intention?

To leave this world knowing I’ve done something to make it a happier, more accepting, understanding and respecting place. (I know I sound like a Beyoncé in I was here but okay.)

3. What is your deepest fear?

Losing my family and or best friends. They are the world to me.

4. What does love mean to you?

Love to me means devotion to make someone happy. If you really love someone, like your parents, siblings or God, you will do anything to make them happy right? That’s true love.

5. What’s the biggest mistake you’ve made in your life and how have you overcome it?

I don’t like calling them mistakes, I call them life lessons, sometimes very hard ones. I think everything we do, we do for a reason and when we do it wrongly, surely we can learn from it. So I guess my mistake would be doing things wrongly even though I know better, but I’m working on those still.

6. What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?

Back when I was in high school people used to label me as a bitch, not because I was necessarily mean to people but because I always kept everyone at a distance. It took me a long time to break that barrier and from what I understand, people like me a lot more now .

7. How would your best friend describe you?

Well, one of my friends wrote a little something about me last week and described me as; positive, energetic, lovely and humble. Isn’t that amazing?

8. What’s the best advice you ever received?

“Stay true to yourself.” I used to want to ‘be normal’ but now I just want to be me, and so far that’s working out pretty well.

9. How would you like to be remembered?

As someone who inspired people to be happy.
